5-6 pm: BAA opening ceremony – Fan Fest @ Copley Square / open air, this will introduce “The Original 5”—those surviving first official women celebrating the 50th anniversary of women being allowed to officially run the Boston Marathon.
Saturday, April 16
8am: BAA 5K Run – Kathrine starting with 261 Fearless Team
3-4pm: “The Original 5/ First Official Women” signing autographs @ the big adidas booth in the Expo
5-5:40pm: Panel Discussion at the Expo: “Women Fearlessly Breaking Barriers: Three Innovative Women and How They Have Changed History, Running and Beyond”. presented by 261 Fearless.
Sunday, April 17
9-10:30am: Adidas Runners (shake out run) meet @ Copley Sq.
1-2pm: “The Original 5 / First Official Women” panel @ Fan Fest, on Copley Sq.
2:30-3:30pm: “The Original 5/ First Official Women” @ finish line (on platform), Boylston St.
Monday, April 18 – Race Day
9:30am: “The Original 5/ First Official Women” at the finish line -> hello to the people of Boston -> either before or after wheelchair race finish.
