NOON, Sept 10, 2023–I’ll be there! So excited to be meeting and greeting old friends and new on Sunday, 8/10 at the Gazebo in Johnson Park, Liverpool (Syracuse) NY.
Free and open to the public. It’s been awhile since I’ve been in the town where it all started–yes, Syracuse! Not Boston!–and I am eager to tell you about the latest adventure in women’s running outreach.

Kathrine Switzer has long been one of running’s most iconic figures. Not just for breaking barriers as the first woman to officially run the Boston Marathon in 1967, but also for creating positive global social change. Because of her millions of women are now empowered by the simple act of running.
