This is an annual fixture for Kathrine. Most of the weekend, she is the guest runner host for Australian runners traveling with RunFun Travel, Australia! What fun! She will make a dinner speech for them on Nov.3. On Nov. 4 &5 she will also be at the NYCM expo; booth #210 with Marathon Tours signing/selling her book and taking photos. Her hours at expo: Fri 12-6, Sat 10-3. On Sat night Nov.5, Kathrine and Roger Robinson are the guest speakers for Marathon Tours at the Grand Hyatt Hotel. Sunday: race day press work!
Kathrine Switzer has long been one of running’s most iconic figures. Not just for breaking barriers as the first woman to officially run the Boston Marathon in 1967, but also for creating positive global social change. Because of her millions of women are now empowered by the simple act of running.
