Kathrine is 1974 winner of the race and last ran it in 1975. She plans to run again, 32 year later, and this time she is running with a small contingent of 261 Fearless charity runners. She was inducted into the New York Road Runners Hall of Fame 2 years ago. Kathrine has done the TV broadcast of the race for 28 years, and therefore has never run the race when it is in the streets of NYC. In her day, it was all in Central Park. We welcome all 261 runners and friends to a special gathering on Friday, November 3 at the adidas Flagship Store, 565 5th Ave, New York City.
2:30pm – Meet Kathrine Switzer and our 261 Fearless NYC Charity Team. Enjoy some exclusive time with them as they get ready to run the streets of New York City.
