Kathrine and Roger Robinson have been invited back for a return performance at the 41st anniversary of this very special race. Unique activities include the first Southern USA launch of the “Spirit of the Marathon II” film with Roger Robinson’s superb companion book. Both will be speaking, appearing at the Expo and announcing at the race on September 27th.
Kathrine Switzer has long been one of running’s most iconic figures. Not just for breaking barriers as the first woman to officially run the Boston Marathon in 1967, but also for creating positive global social change. Because of her millions of women are now empowered by the simple act of running.
