This is one of the iconic marathon events! Kathrine Switzer and Roger Robinson are giving a Dynamic Duo presentation at the world-famous pasta party on Friday night, April 4 (We’re psyching you up for race day, April 5). We’re sticking around all weekend meeting and greeting. The expo is Fri.; we’ll be there with our books and shirts. Directed by the world’s oldest race directors Bob and Lenore Dolphin (mid-eighties, folks!) and run in the beautiful Yakima River Canyon, this race is a must-do!
Kathrine Switzer has long been one of running’s most iconic figures. Not just for breaking barriers as the first woman to officially run the Boston Marathon in 1967, but also for creating positive global social change. Because of her millions of women are now empowered by the simple act of running.
